Date: Friday 7/11/08 Day:15 of my journey
Nice, France
We started our day with yet another... familiar continental breakfast: bread, assorted
fruit, and cereal. We then lethargically entered the bus for our tour. We all snapped out of our trance when the tour guides
loud,"Geewwd Morning!" We then went through the city of Nice enjoying the many sights of the hotels and private
beaches. All of the beaches seemed to be spotless without a spec of trash to be seen and have gleaming white sand. You could
tell when one hotel's section ended because the umbrella color changed. We also saw the large hospital where Angelena
Jole's baby was born. We then had some free time in the city of Cans. All I could say was their McDonald's was really
nice because thats all that I really saw. Then after that we visited the principality of Monaco. On the way there we saw Elton
John's private estate and we got a view of the Cape of Good Hope. The cape was huge and it kinda looked like Pinnochio
from the cliff where we were looking down at.
Monaco was absolutely amazing. Every car we drove past was a luxurious sports car such
as a Porche, Ferrari, and Lamburgini. When our free time started I had one goal in mind: find gifts for all of my friends.
I rushed from store to store hoping to find what each of my would like last minute. At that moment time ran slow and I was
extremely focused at the time. Or not... Before we knew it, we ran out of time. Johnnie Greco and I ran while taking pictures
of all the cool cars. We made the rendevouz time and were on our way. Once on the bus we went to the restaurant for dinner
and then went to the hotel for free time and sleep.
